How it all started

Early days

We were three recent graduates from the UK who thought a year teaching overseas would be a fun distraction. 

Then came night-market snacks, weekend karaoke, and students who changed everything. Our little gap-year quietly stretched into a decade.

The messy bit in the middle

But, getting to those classrooms was harder than it should've been. 

Our first choice was CELTA (whose isn't...?). But, we didn't have $1,000+ lying around, so it was out of reach for us. And, it might be for you, too.

Yes. Our 120-hour course is accredited by ACCREDITAT (UK), which means our content, assessment, and support are externally quality-checked and accepted by overseas schools and teaching platforms.

Is this a CELTA course?

No. CELTA is a cohort, tutor-led route that often costs £1,000+.

simpleTEFL is an accredited, flexible TEFL certification that gets you job-ready for online roles and overseas schools.

Do you guarantee jobs?

We don’t—and no reputable course should. Schools do the hiring.

How do schools verify a certificate?

Every certificate has a unique ID. Employers can confirm it instantly via QR code on the certificate, our verification page, or by emailing us and quoting the certificate ID.
